Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles (Gluten-Free)

Ingredients

3 whole cloves of garlic

minced

1 lb grass fed ground beef
0.50 tablespoon ground ginger
8 oz rice noodles

or lo mein or spaghetti of choice

0.25 cup coconut aminos
0.24 cup Hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon arrowroot or tapioca flour
1 tablespoon avocado oil
0.25 cup beef, chicken or veggie broth
0.50 cup green onions

chopped

1 pinch sesame seeds

to garnish

Instructions

Cook the noodles per package instructions. Drain and set aside (you may want to rinse in cold water and store in fridge depending on the brand)

In a small bowl, whisk together coconut aminos, hoisin sauce, broth and arrowroot flour until well combined

STEP

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and add garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant

Add ground beef and ginger to skillet, breaking it a part with spatula or meat masher and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes

Drain any excess fat if necessary then pour sauce mixture into the skillet with the ground beef

STEP

Stir well and remove from heat

STEP

Add cooked noodles to skillet and toss to evenly combine

STEP

Stir in green onions and sesame seeds and enjoy! If you want a kick, add in red pepper flakes
