Delete Your Account

You can delete your Fix Your Period account and all associated data at any time.

Option 1: Delete in the app (recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Fix Your Period app:

  1. Open the Fix Your Period app on your phone or visit fixyourperiod.app in your browser.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Tap the profile avatar in the top right corner of the dashboard.
  4. Open Settings.
  5. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  6. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account and all associated data will be removed from our systems immediately.

Option 2: Email request

If you cannot log in to the app, or if you would prefer to have our team delete your account for you, send an email to:

support@fixyourperiod.com

Please include the subject line "Delete My Account" and email from the same address associated with your Fix Your Period account. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 7 business days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove all data tied to your account, including:

  • Your profile (name, email, password, birth year)
  • Your Hormone Health Assessment answers and personalized protocol
  • Your cycle tracking logs (period flow, BBT, symptoms, mood, notes, intimacy, partner-sharing data)
  • Your NicoleNow chat history and conversations
  • Your Laura support chat history
  • Your action steps and library viewing activity
  • Your subscription record (the subscription itself is cancelled separately through Apple, Google, or Stripe depending on where you originally subscribed)
  • Your notifications and push notification tokens
  • Any connected wearable data (Oura Ring sleep and recovery data)
  • Marketing attribution and tracking data

What may be retained

A small subset of information may be retained after account deletion when we are legally required to keep it, including:

  • Billing and payment records, where required for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years)
  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot be linked back to your identity
  • Email and audit logs related to account deletion itself, for security and compliance

No retained data can be used to identify you personally or restore your account.

Cancelling your subscription

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active paid subscription. Because subscriptions are billed through Apple, Google, or Stripe (depending on where you signed up), they must be cancelled directly through whichever platform processes your payments:

  • iOS subscribers: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Fix Your Period → Cancel
  • Android subscribers: Google Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Fix Your Period → Cancel
  • Web subscribers (Stripe): Email support@fixyourperiod.com and we'll process the cancellation for you.

If you delete your account while a paid subscription is still active, you will lose access to paid features immediately, but the underlying subscription billing will continue until you cancel it via your platform. We recommend cancelling your subscription before deleting your account.
